Krzysztof Kowalczyk
Founder and Managing Partner of UBIK Business Consulting, specializes in the strategic management and technology startups.
Graduated from Warsaw School of Economics (Management of Information Systems, 2001). He holds CEMS Master’s Degree in International Management from Community of European Management Schools (2001) and additional degree in German Studies in Economics (Deutsch- Polnisches Akademiker Forum, in cooperation with University of Duisburg and University of Mainz).
Professional experience includes E.piphany CRM package implementation in Procter&Gamble divisions in Great Britain and USA (2000), co-managing Internet start-up (System Internet Provider, 2000), introducing Lycos Europe portal to polish market as Head of Content and Technology (Lycos Poland, 2001) and being a management consultant with McKinsey&Company (2003-2004).
In the years 2001-2008 Krzysztof Kowalczyk was an assistant professor in Warsaw School of Economics' Faculty of Business Informatics and lecturer in Warsaw Executive MBA and CEMS (Community of European Management Schools - Master in International Management) programs.
Member of Polish Professional Informatics Society (PTI), Academic Business Informatics Society (NTIE), Mensa Poland and founding member of Internet Society (ISOC) Poland. As a member of Polish Information Processing Society one of the PIPS appraisers organized in Chamber of Appraisers and accredited examiner of European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) and ECDL-Advanced.
In 2007 co-founded leading polish startup scene meetups, Aula Polska.
